Designed and manufactured in the USA, GEN 2 Power Riggers can be paired with Rupp Marine Bigg Rigg™ and Tournament outriggers for push-button control of outriggers ranging from 28' to 57' in length. The new cutting-edge power unit is a mere 39 lbs., a full 33% lighter than the previous generation. With 52% less total volume, this more compact system measures only 16.5" L x 15.5" W x 7.75" H, allowing for more installation options, including in smaller vessels. Whether for OEM or refit, the decreased size makes installing the unit faster and easier. The system runs on 24V DC and is available in 110V AC.
GEN 2 Power Riggers are offered in two versions. The Standard model includes two hydraulic cylinders that move the port and starboard outriggers in and out for fishing. The Deluxe style adds a second pair of cylinders that will additionally raise and lower the outriggers to clear bridges or other obstructions and allow for optimizing the fishing spread.
Operating either of these packages is user-friendly and allows the captain to remain safely focused on vessel operation and crew management. The new Auto Deploy™ feature extends the outriggers with a double tap of the rocker switch or key fob button; another double tap and it retrieves them. No longer does the operator need to engage the button throughout the entire sequence. Hydraulically actuated, the system is smooth, quiet and proven, no matter the length or weight of the outriggers or sea conditions.
Both the Standard and Deluxe GEN 2Power Riggers are sold as complete systems that include the Gen 2 power unit, anodized aluminum hydraulic cylinders, Rupp's patented outrigger locking mechanism, all required fittings, hydraulic hose and wire harnesses. Both flush mounted panel switches and a pair of wireless key fobs are included. MSRP starts at $15,750 for the Standard version and $21,500 for the Deluxe model.
